Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB)
Seeks to ensure that the United States Government recognizes and promotes international standards of excellence, and that its bilateral, multilateral, and international trade agreements assure that core labor standards are observed throughout the world. ILAB conducts research on and formulates international economic, trade, immigration, and labor policies in collaboration with other U.S. Government agencies and provides international technical assistance in support of U.S. foreign labor policy objectives.

Permanent Court of Arbitration
Established in 1899 to facilitate arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution between states, the PCA has evolved into a modern, multi-faceted arbitral institution that is now perfectly situated at the juncture between public and private international law to meet the rapidly evolving dispute resolution needs of the international community. Today the PCA provides services for the resolution of disputes involving various combinations of states, state entities, intergovernmental organizations and private parties.
